A walk around the humble Jewish Quarter, whether wandering on your own the narrow streets or accompanied by a specialist guide, means to cross time barriers to find a past still alive in the sober austerity of the materials that the ancient residents used to build their homes. Adobe, chestnut wood and vertical roof tiles as isolating elements are used in the design of a traditional mountainous architecture that blends into the natural landscape. Indigenous materials for a way of construction that today would be referred to as sustainable and smart. Among its streets, in addition to the Rabilero street, you should not miss the triangle formed by the streets Amistad Judeo-Cristiana, Callejón de los Cofrades and Vado, where long ago the Jewish Lagar, Bodega and Agricultural Cooperative were located.
